main straight probably will be very long for Mercs and back straight as well.. Ferrari might be prep'ed for their disadvantage against Red Bulls.. i guess we ll see a lot of porpoising from most of the cars.. i hope this time Mercs wont take the lead in that...

Very critical weekend for Mercedes - this is the race they hinted at with regards to huge upgrades. If whatever they bring doesn't work out, time to look forward to next season.

Red Bull should have the clear advantage here with top speed. Barring any errors, VER should win this one with LEC in P2.

It almost seems dumb to not have RUS in 5 but I feel like BOT is going to put it all together at Barcelona. I think the track will exacerbate MB ongoing problems and I still firmly believe they need to go back to square 1, pay the price in development costs and fix the car instead of putting bandaids on a shit car.

Also - RedBull to take lead in constructors after this race.

Max to take WDC lead at Monaco with LEC dnf

Place 5 and lower: anything can happen

1-4 is surely for RB and Ferrari; the lead they have over the rest is uncanny; only things like crashes and sc/red flags can change that.

RUS had some good finishes not because of the car, but because he made the right decisions and just drove well. So there are a lot of drivers that can get his place if they do the same.
I put him there because he's constant and bright.

RUS had some good finishes not because of the car, but because he made the right decisions and just drove well. So there are a lot of drivers that can get his place if they do the same.

Agreed, RUS is actually driving well and contributing to strategy allowing him to outperform the car.
