Wasn't LEC called for the weigh bridge and he missed it.. eventually being rolled back by his pit crew. No penalty for that? Because Monaco home race maybe.

According to Marko : Charlie was called twice for the weigh bridge .

Something went wrong , and they had to call him again during the QF.

In normal circumstances that's a penalty according to the FIA regulations .

How come they weigh the drivers after quali and race? It can’t just be to subtract and get the weight of the car since the car will have different fuel loads and tire debris.

Yeah the crash sucked, hopefully he won't have to start from the pitlane. I have a feeling Sainz might DNF because he had one of those weird side crashes where the gear box could be damaged.

To make sure the drivers don't have too much of a weight loss due to sweating as it is extremely unhealthy and akin to weight cutting. So the FIA likes to keep tabs on driver hydration levels.

Actually It's just BS from the FIA ...
MAX was completely dehydrated and lost 3 kilograms during the race in Miami .
I'm pretty sure , the FIA couldn't help him with that .
The only thing he could do was drinking ASAP and a lot ...
