No matter, Max is not bothered without a tow that Chas really needed and he adds they are quick on the straights which they can use in the race and perfect for implementing a useful strat without worrying a lot about HAM.

To me the order of the top three is pretty much expected. I’d give the advantage to Max given the straights and they seem better on tires on long runs. It’ll probably be a two stopper with how hot the track is.

The good surprise here is Lando between the Mercs. It doesn’t look like the Merc’s big upgrade package did anything, they’re still a mile behind Ferrari and RB. It’s kinda surprising that the gap between Ferrari/RB and everone else is so big given this isn’t a big track.

It would be great if NOR can take HAM, he's shaken off that kid image ages ago and can attack him now but HAM is a master at punting others off! and as you say the Merc 'upgrade' was probably just more pub talk from Wolff.

Great showing for Norris today, but that car still has substantial popoising issues it seems.

Looked like a rough ride at times from the onboard.
