Hustle was absolutely terrible, just terrible. I couldn't sit through it. It was a shitty version of Rocky with a basketball.

Will watch it sometime. In no rush.

Of the new gen, they're not quite the same deal, still great imo.
Chris Pine does a good Kirk.
Mine Top 3: Wrath of Khan, Voyage Home, First Contact
Wrath of Kahn is an all time classic imo. What a great movie.

Watching GoldenEye on Amazon Prime. Best Brosnan Bond film. Also has the N64 game nostalgia holding it higher too.

That game was ahead of its time. I play Warzone now which I find to be an amazing game. But in some ways that bond game was better. Crazy how good that game was/is.

And as we know, based on a true story.

PS - I think I remember seeing the shootout on the news as it happened.

The north hollywood shootout - Feb 1997.

Completely nuts.

Interestingly, that took place AFTER heat debuted in 1995.
Perhaps reality followed fiction in this case.

It's actually based on two true stories.

Here's the other one:

Quote:
Factual basis. Heat is based on the true story of Neil McCauley, a calculating criminal and ex-Alcatraz inmate who was tracked down by Detective Chuck Adamson in 1964. In 1961, McCauley was transferred from Alcatraz to McNeil, as mentioned in the film.

Also from the film Heat: Nate, who was the character Jon Voight played, is based on former career criminal turned writer and actor Edward Bunker, who played Mr. Blue in Quentin Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs.

I saw Gray Man on Netflix last night. We didn't like it very much. It was a bit over the top.

If you like a lot of action and fight scenes, give it a try.

I think the actress that stars in Gray Man is also playing Marilyn Monroe in Blonde. Cuba/Spanish actress having a very busy year!

Let us know what you think if you decide to watch it.

Hahaha! My blonde will be in Palm Springs with her two minions, so I'll be left to my own devices (…which means binge watching television, pizza, cookies & cream ice cream, gym and a lil' Capoeira/BJJ).
