My lawn contractor dropped-by with his dog. Those two get along really well. I wish I could bottle their energy and sell it. Non-stop chasing each other around the house.

Thanks for the well wishes. Since we're Jewish we typically do Chinese for Christmas, although our old neighbor from Baltimore also lives by us and she swears that she hasn't found a good Chinese spot yet! Looks like we'll have to get creative with food this year!

are you in SWFL? my baltimore-born in-laws have been living down there for 35 years so ive eaten at A LOT of restuarants down there. where do you need recommendations for good chinese food?

I'm thinking this may be a good spot to ask this question. Do any folks out there have any experience or advice for raising and owning a Weimaraner? I am somewhat obsessed with that breed and looking for feedback on where to find some good breeders and anything else to know about what to expect with them.

We put down our 14 year old pooch this past August and I feel like by this coming spring/summer I'd be ready to get a new family dog.

we have a dog and a cat.

Here's our dog Chloe. She's a rescue from Arkansas that we've had for since she was 6 months.

She's been a great dog, very protective of the family and loves to cuddle (maybe too much for an 80# dog)

She's had a tough few months.
our kids went off to college
we sold our house
had a home fire while it was under contract (realtors and then contractors in the house for 2 months)
Drove cross country with me, stayed in different hotels every night while I drove her and then while we were waiting to close on our new home
Settled into the new home

NOW, when you leave her alone she pee's in the house. Vet says it likely separation anxiety and the last few months have been too much for her

So even to go out for a hair cut, I have to block areas of the house, and then expect to clean pee off the LVT floor (I was never a big fan of LVT, but for a home with a leaker... it's the best option
