Saw a recipe for chicken pot pie with tater tot topping and had to try it. Didn't actuallly look at the recipe as I have my own for chicken pot pie, but the tots are a great substitute for biscuits/mashed. The crunch of the outside and the creamy center... sublime!

That's hilarious, my wife and I have been having that as well the last two nights, minus the wine. We found a few new goat and sheep cheeses we've never had before so that's what got us on the kick.

All else is equal - crust, seasonings, sauce and cheeses.

Served with salad; fruit for dessert.

It’s a great topping. Not greasy, if the meat is precooked before adding to the pizza. Take care to avoid over-precooking which will result in dry/hard ground beef after the cooking heat for the pizza. I cooked the meat (add salt to taste) until just before it was fully cooked, and let it drain on paper towels, then used it on the pizza. Similar to how I would use fresh (uncooked) Italian sausage on pizza.
