No, it was before the iron was used. My mom would have to wait hours.

I lost my mom when I was young so I really hang on to those memories.

This is Sam and I love her dearly. She’s a very sweet girl. She will be 11yo this July.

In 2003, the American nuclear submarine USS Connecticut surfaced in pack ice above the Arctic Circle. A look around with the periscope revealed a curious (and hungry!) polar bear checking out the sub's rudder. Apparently it turned out to not be delicious.

We've had cats since we got hitched 54 years ago. Lost two cats last year. Both were about 20 and we had them for 18 wonderful years. One was a stray that we took in and we adopted the other one from a shelter.

Right about the time we lost the two, another neighborhood stray appeared at our back door during a heavy rain storm 14 months ago. He had been hanging around our yard for years, but I assumed he had an owner. Apparently, not. We invited him in and he stayed. He's turned out to be a really nice kitty and has filled a big hole.

I got Samantha from a shelter when she was 2yo as well. Everybody wants the kittens. It's the older cats that get left behind.

Lol.... Similar thing happened to me many years ago.
I used to live in the country and one morning on my way to work this stupid deer decides to run right into the side of my truck.
I saw him coming for like half a mile from an open field on my driver's side, so I slowed down to let him pass. Dosen't the stupid thing run right into the rear door of my truck
