They put Danny in because RB wants to have as much options as possible to potentially replace Perez next year if he doesn't perform.

But indeed having 1 rookie in the lower tier teams helps getting new talent to the top. We all know by now that Ricciardo will never be WDC (however, that's not what RB is looking for, they need a Bottas to secure 2nd place)

Actually, also Bottas would perform well in a Red Bull.

Val would happily move to another team as the Alfa is now just a car that makes up the numbers with a B rated Ferrari customer PU and unresponsive chassis, whether he could master the RB pace to keep up with Max is the key question, the Merc he was in before was easier to drive.

The LEW contract spat is dragging on with both sides saying they are 'chipping' away at it.
This started in Jan-Feb and it's been dragging on with no end in sight, I would just put Mick out of his misery and sign him for '24 for one year probationary and bid LEW all the best for the future.

Looking forward to seeing Ricciardo's performance in the AT04. We were told he turned front row times at Silverstone in the RB19 tire test. Going from the fastest car on the grid to the slowest, it'll be interesting to see what he does.

That is quite a change, and makes the car look more special. I gather it's for both cars and should be a boost for Checo to get the quali right to be on a better start position.
