Touch-up paint for Dravit Grey Metallic?
Hello,
Does anyone have suggestions for touch-up paint for Dravit Grey Metallic? I was deciding between Dr. Colorchip and ColorNDrive. Any good options for this particular color? It is on the front hood. About 1 cm in length for the larger one. |

YES. DR color chip ONLY. Dont use BMW paint pen. You want the dr. colorchip stuff. It self levels and just works very well.

Another vote for Dr. Colorchip. I've used it for over a decade and it's the easiest solution, color match is always impeccable, and the finished product is much better than OEM touch up kits.
Just take your time and follow the instructions and you'll be amazed.

If it's damage to the clear coat, you will need to remove the badge, sand it down to base paint layer, and reapply a coat of clear coat on top. Then sand it even, and re-apply the badge. Good new - the area around the badge is really hard to inspect and observe any imperfections. It's usually clogged with wax and dirt anyway. Or, it could be something else entirely different? HTH, a
