Won't say it's been easy - but we're slowly getting to a tolerable range between them. Biggest concern is when two of the dogs want to just get in her face. But - 3rd pic is showing how it's been lately.

PS - Never heard of the cheese tax. Had to look it up. Funny. My cat does the same thing but with Doritos, it’s hilarious.

Our 6 yr old rescue...very much a sweetie, she's fitting in nicely (it's been 5 weeks since her arrival). The end of the couch is her preferred spot.

We lost our sweet 6 year old Golden Retriever Buddy on Tuesday, totally out of the blue, vet still unsure of the cause, but through our research since we discovered that his Mother and Grandmother both died under 7, and his Grandmother had Lymphoma - the symptoms fit with what happened, but it was less than two days from first sign of anything being wrong to him passing away.

Anyway, both we and our 13 year old Golden Retriever were heartbroken, so we decided on Friday to go for a puppy.

He arrived on Saturday, is 8 weeks and 2 days old now and is called Kasper.

Sorry for your loss. I lost a cat to Lymphoma. He was older at 14 but it still hurt. Your pup Kasper looks very sweet. Hopefully he will comfort you guys until it doesn't feel so bad and you can look back on happy times with the one you just lost.

We adopted another cat right away when we lost our 14yo and it helped. We put our attention into making her feel comfortable in her new home and it helped us to not feel so bad. It's been 12 years now and we remember our 14yo boy with fond memories.

Thank you. He is certainly keeping all three of us busy - he is so full of beans! I have had to puppy-proof the garden again, as he can get in all the places the bigger boys couldn’t.

He is settling in very well and he is already showing his character - and some little barks! He is nearly the same colour as Buddy and I have called him that a few times!

She's just one of the sheps now. Comes when I call her and now will sit on visual command. Realize she just pulls queues from the others, but it's still funny.

Amazingly, any fear she once had is gone and just digs right into their food bowls while eating (all are trained non-aggression - so no worries).
