Steak frites, salad

Prime grade NY strip sautéed in EVOO, butter, garlic and thyme. Salad with arugula, cucumbers, onions, tomato and Syrian cheese.

Fresh cut grapefruit for dessert.

The Prime cut was good but not dramatically better than Choice grade.

Chicky - Roasted adobe marinaded w/spicy rub
Rice - Spanish style; pan fried w/ olive oil, garlic, sweet peppers
Veggie - Roasted asparagus; 'reanimated leftover' from last eve

Last take out was disappointing

so homemade except for the Egg Rolls; Sticky Chicken Wings, Veggie/Bacon Fried Rice and Sweet & Sour Pork Bites.

Tabbouleh!

With grilled whole wheat Chaldean flatbread.

Usual ingredients in the tabbouleh with two additions: Syrian cheese and cucumbers. Syrian cheese is firm, has a mild flavor and is reminiscent of mozzarella.

Love the combination of fresh mint and parsley. Seasoned with EVOO, lemon juice, salt, pepper, sumac and cumin.
