Max is consolidating his 6th place I think. He doesn't get any closer to the merc cars.
Saving tyres if the moment comes that he has to fight off PIA if he can overtake the two Haas cars.
So if Lando gets 3rd place, he looses 7 points on Lando.
If Lando finishes 2nd, it'll be more obviously....
