Sounds conceivable. Decision was taken yesterday in Dubai and it is told that Honda was involved. If accurate, then as the saying goes: "Never waste a good crisis".

And quite likely, at the wheel of a Racing Bull next to Hadjar, Lawson may be in a 'happier place' to show the world what he got.

I don't think that's on purpose. If you ask me RB would rather have two drivers on top of the field like in 2023, but reality is that the car is a nightmare since last season. Verstappen can cope with that better than a lot of the others.

Great move. They should always be looking for the best available drivers to fill the seat. Unfortunately only done once they saw they don't have a newey rocket ship. I wonder had it been a newey rocket if this would've happened vs red bull now seeing their contender chances slipping without the goat designer

Newey had nothing to do with AMR25. He didn't join AM until March 3rd. He might have some input on upgrades in future.

His skill will come into play with AMR26 and new rules package.

Good thing they don’t use BRG then. Podium green is a spectacular colour and needs to be seen in real life to fully appreciate it. It would be nice if it converted to actual podiums though.

I have to stay off this configurator and stop thinking about this new model.

That seat seems to be a career killer. Hopefully Yuki fares better. Lets see if he would have been better off waiting for new 2026 rules and RB22.
