This is my WDC order as well.
Now that's a bold WDC prediction, AmuroRay. But that's OK. More power to you if Hamilton manages to pull this off.

Just be aware that Ferrari strategists decisions can be fully beyond Hamilton's control, no matter his skills and performance.

Over the past couple of years, Verstappen demonstrated time and time again that he ain't in dire need of a wingman to assist him in getting WDC titles and in attacking or defending track positions. He's out there on his own, left to his own devices in handling his RBR car on track.

Apart from Perez assisting him in reducing the gap to Hamilton during the notorious Abu Dhabi 2021 race, during many race weekends we have seen the exceptional Verstappen 'one-man band' dominating the whole field (including several previous WDC winners), with team mate irrelevance. A feat that only very few WDC title winners can claim.

It's great that we can still see him race now - a phenomenal once-in-a-generation race machine.

And let's cherish that we got more variation this season.

well Yuki has said he wants to podium his home race. Japan must be on a big high at the moment.

That stint in Mexico was arguable the best ever stint and the epitome of tire management we have ever seen in F1. No one is that good, except for Max.

I agree - Max has won WDC and WCC by himself. Not many have done it. Max never needed someone to help him win, unlike Hamilton, who not only needed them to help him, he needed his pitwall to give orders because he wasnt able to beat mediocre, at best, talent. He also was so scared of Max and the immense talent, that he had to beg Toto (odd that Toto was the dog in Wizard of OZ but Ham was begging like one) not to sign Max. He knew with even a rookie Max he'd been done for especially since Max beat him in a slower car in 2021 - cant imagine the whopping Ham would have gotten with Max driving the same car.

Yeah yeah yeah, It’s hard to be impressed about this when Lewis is did it first, did it better and did it longer. Oh and Lewis raced his teammate AND his team.

lol, Max can’t even beat Lewis on his own. He needed a to cheat - Breaking budget cap, the fastest car, the regulations changed to favor Red Bull, Perez’s AND the FIA help just to “beat” Lewis.

And you really expect me to be impressed? F1 should just change its name to the annual Lewis Hamilton championship, because clearly it’s all about trying to beat him. Hell, this forum spends more time trying to convince themselves he sucks and he’s not important than they do on anything else. Can’t wait to see him win 3 more WDC and forever live rent free on Bimmerpost while people talk about Max and his meaningless stats, or how Carlos is “better” than Lewis despite not winning anything worth a damn.

Max is good, but Lewis is the greatest driver of all time, bar none. No one is or ever will be as good as him. Basically 1 race has separated Lewis from having 12 championships (2007, 2010?, 2012?, 2016, 2021*) There isn’t anything he can’t or hasn’t done - he’s done it all through different years, cars and regulations and teams. Best to ever do it and ever will do it.

Max was too busy playing bumper cars while Lewis was winning. He couldn’t even challenge Daniel who was never on the Level of someone like prime Alonso - who lost to Rookie Lewis. Completely invisible until he had the absolute fastest car on the grid. The guy is good - but he’s not a literal once in a lifetime racer like Lewis is.

We all saw 4 X champ VET gradually go downhill at Ferrari and his stint at AM wasn't exactly what ALO has achieved there so he had a choice as the seasons finished. Not sure how LEW comes into it, all that time at Merc I wouldn't think he even spared a thought of joining RBR up to the time it clicked for him to change to Ferrari.

No-one can reasonably dispute that Hamilton has deservedly joined other F1 greats in the Pantheon of F1 history.

The contents of your comment sound as if recorded for a mid December 2021 time capsule.

But it's April 2025 now. 70 races and 16 Sprints since the 2021 Abu Dhabi trauma, have put things into perspective.

Reality-check: from those 86 race events since the 2022 season:
  • Hamilton won Silverstone 2024, Spa-Francorchamps 2024 and the China Sprint 2025.
    That makes 3 out of 86 (3.4%). 1 GP pole position (1.4%) (2023 Hungary).
  • Verstappen took measure of Hamilton by winning 43 GP races and 10 Sprint events.
    That makes 53 out of 86 (61.6%). 27 GP pole positions (38.6%).
Up to Hamiton to prove Toto Wolff wrong about his infamous "shelf life" quote.

If Lewis is so great, then why did he give up on his team and wanted to quit the Las Vegas race last year? He even tried to pit but they told him no.

Sounds like a true winner and champion...(sarcastic)

I've said it before and I'll say it again: the fall of Red Bull Racing goes pretty fast. If they don't get their act together soon, they could lose Verstappen.

The situation at RBR becomes critical. Mercedes and Toto Wolff are beckoning.

"Ralf Schumacher puts timeline on Max Verstappen Red Bull exit decision
Ralf Schumacher believes Max Verstappen could leave Red Bull if their performance doesn’t improve in the next few races, with Mercedes emerging as a likely destination."
https://www.motorsport.com/f1/news/r...sion/10708701/

If this will be confirmed (and I think that this will happen), Russell is out of Mercedes at the end of this season.

Agree it's striking but white only for the Suzuka circuit. RBR's blue livery is dictated by the Austrian drinks company.
