Laat ons morgen maar de race in de regen zien , ik denk dat een top-10 voor ons Japannerke best wel haalbaar is . Punten scoren in het WCC is zijn opdracht en MAX helpen indien mogelijk. Nautuurlijk en hopelijk ook zonder kleerscheuren (!) ![]() MAX dacht tijdens zijn pole lap , minstens 5 keer te crashen . Zo schandalig slecht is die RB21 Frankenstein auto , enkel de MAX-Factor kan zoiets uitzonderlijk haalbaar maken (!)

What struck me when watching this comparo was the difference in head/helmet shaking.
Look again focusing on the helmets only, and you'll notice Norris's head encountering slightly more 'wobble' or 'jarring/jolting' than Verstappen. An indication of a slightly stiffer setup of the McLaren.

Verstappen: "The car was definitely a bit better than Friday, but at the same time we really still got to work on the balance in the corners. With low fuel you can still mask something in one lap. But I still don't enter fully confident. We must keep improving. It's not that everything is suddenly perfect again because I'm on pole position. We have problems that need to be solved. Some tracks will work better, some less. But this whole weekend we experimented until the qualies to find that balance that can make me push just a little bit more."

Norris was faster everywhere but he gave Max a huge headstart.
In the corner before the lap begin Max drove around the outside. This means he had a lot more distance to accelerate and he started his lap faster than Norris. Norris didn't drive around the outside and he started his lap very slowly, but made everything up due to the fast car until chicane at the end. Classic qualifying trick and people don't always know. Unreal. Putting that car on pole. Max just knows how to extract every last bit out of a car. I can’t imagine the points damage he would do if he drove a McLaren or Mercedes this year. I think on very technical tracks that don’t have huge long straight sections, Max can do well this year.
