Ham got gifted positions by being able to stop during VSC. Otherwise he spent first quarter of race failing to pass a Haas, due to his continued poor qualifying.

Ham pace is no where new Lec. It is 6-2 in favor of Lec in quali sessions including sprints.

Of those 6, Lewis was behind Lec by over .4 sec on average. Over 4 tenths is an eternity in F1.

Ham is the number 2 driver at Ferrari.

RUS is a good driver. Maybe not always the fastest, but he has 'racecraft', and thinks out of the box during the race. I don't know how Kimi will evolve. Now he's still too unexperienced and makes too much driving mistakes (locking up etc, and gets a bit nervous at the start etc), but speedwise he'll be faster than RUS in a few months/next year, I'm sure of that.
It'll be interesting to see how good he's gonna be strategically and if he can keep his head cool.
Definately the most interesting new driver on the grid. Maybe the most interesting driver next to Max and Oscar.

To be fair, there is no number 1 - both LEC and HAM are number 2, second behind the masterclass that is the Ferrari pit wall/strategy.

I’ve never laughed so hard in frustration and disappointment at a teams performance. I thought it was bad when it was VET and LEC, yesterday was 100x worse than those years.

Weighing it up Ferrari pit chaps can do what they can under the circumstances, LEW and Chas can only blame the cars but of course they can't criticise the cars or Ferrari people in public, (re Prost in the nineties told to leave Ferrari) They'll get faster especially when they can figure out the Laren brake cooling but that will be hard for them with the secrecy.

The precedent has been set as Pia has veered into both Max and Ant while yielding no room. Seems if you are on the inside now, you can do whatever you want. If that's the way it is, then what can you do except exploit it. Until there are collisions guys will continue to push the boundaries.
