Hulkenberg literally just dragging his balls all over the #2 Ferrari driver’s face like the rest of the field and Ham can only ask for more as he falls behind further and further. Nice race by Lec who continues to show his absolute dominance.

The McLaren is so dominant. It’s as dominant as the MB was from 2014-2021. It’s pretty incredible to see a car so easy to drive and requires little tire management (a big weakness of Pia) while also having pace that is materially significant.

RB should have never asked Max to give back position, it wasn't needed. Max lost his cool for sure.

Lewis is clearly the #2 driver at Ferrari, it isn't even close. Lewis looked so defeated in post race interviews.

The current McLaren is a masterpiece, honestly don't think it is even being driven to 100% of its potential. It has more pace.

I think this has been boiling up to this point. He is fed up with the car and team(Yuki is too). The RB is a crap wagon, it needs a completely un-drivable loose setup to work. Max is the only one able to drive it, Yuki can't. That setup then burns through tires. The fact he was anywhere near the championship hunt going into this race says a lot. The Ferrari is in a similar situation with a very twitchy car at the rear, Leclerc can deal with it...Lewis can't. This day could be the tipping point and Max starts considering moving teams.

RB will do their best with their tyre choices to prevent that from happening, today it was not bad up to the point of giving him hards. As GuidoK mentioned the most less worn softs or even mediums would have probably been better.

McLaren likely going to walk away with both championships. Mercedes suddenly running into a bit of a problem with Kimi's car, Max carrying Red Bull by himself...and Ferrari reaping the benefits of P2 for just being Ferrari.

It was a big mistake to pit MAX with just 6 laps to go and to pit him for the 'white (hard) tyre .
OK . He still had softs . But bad 'used softs , so the only option was the white tyre without traction .
Why not leave him out on his softs and the podium was guaranteed.
As I said : McLaren wins the races with the brakes and tyres .
Today Red Bull lost the WDC . The WCC was already lost .

The clash with RUS I would have put down as a racing incident and giving him the harsh 3 penalty points is an overreaction. The penalty points system now is stupid anyway invented by some moron official in Paris.

Adding to that both their team bosses and the drivers themselves were rightly careful with what they said as the media would pounce on every out of phase word like a pack of wolves. Well done to them.

He will only have 11 points for Montreal and Austria. Then 2 points fall off and he will have 9 until Brazil in November.

I think he can avoid the red mist for two races, but another intentional crash later in the season like Spain it's easy to get another 3 and reach 12.

Ferrari still took way too long to swap positions. It was painfully obvious Charlie was much faster.

What's the harm, they can always swap back if it doesn't work. I haven't seen any animosity between the two. They can work together.

Is Ham now the Ferrari Bottas or is he Rubens Part 2? Either way, Charlie schooled him big time this weekend. He thought he did so well in quali when it was only a matter of a a dozen or so laps before they told him to get out of the way of the fast Ferrari #1 driver (who had the visualization to set himself up for the race. He then proceeded to drop Ham by nearly 40 seconds in about 40 laps. They legit had the second fastest car this weekend, but Max was still a little quicker...driver matters so much these days unless your car is as fast as Mclaren's.

hard to evaluate how good or bad a driver is with that team behind them, but I do agree Charlie is consistently showing who is the better driver.

Meltdown Max deserved a DSQ and enough penalty points to top up to a race ban.

His 2025 WDC title chances have now vanished.

Perfect storm: RB21 woes, no team mate assistance, realization that the WDC title chances progressively drift away, pit stop under the safety car despite lack of competitive tires (instead of staying out), team fitting new hard tires, safety car too long out on track, erratic Piastri race restart after Safety Car ended requiring to take evasive action to avoid a crash, loss of grip of the hard tires and oversteer in the straight, lost Leclerc battle, Russell battle, wrong team order to give the place back, disputing the team order, fuming when moving over to let Russell pass, going ballistic on Russell 'Michael Schumacher on Damon Hill' style.

I'll say it again: he deserved a DSQ and enough penalty points to top up to a race ban.
