...when you mix up your appointments despite having entered them correctly in your calendar app. Luckily it's a 5 minute drive away, so no big loss.

I’ve done that.

Had an appointment with my ophthalmologist and drove to my medical doctor office instead. Luckily like you both offices are close to each other.

I’ve been known to arrive a day early. Or, a day late. 🤣

Cat toy for a few minutes, then a mop.

When a 103 degree day kicks your ass. Used to be a normal day in Fred anywhere south of Virgina in the summer.

I did that today; was having some service work done at the house and got a call from my dentist telling me I had an appointment today and I was supposed to be there now so I dropped everything and got in my car and left. Luckily my wife was there to handle what was going on at home.

Couldn’t believe I got the wrong day so when I got home I went through my desk and found my dental appointment card and I was right, they wrote the wrong day on my card.

Tore my left rotator cuff several months ago in November. Had an MRI done a few weeks ago (open MRI because claustrophobia). Tore it while doing bench press exercises.

Went to see an orthopedic surgeon today who set me up at the local hospital for physical therapy and gave me a cortisone injection. Will see how it's doing in 6 to 8 weeks, if not better, might schedule surgery.

I hope the injection and PT help, it's been killing me at night when I lay down to sleep. I'm a side sleeper and can't lay on that side because of the pain. Wish I was a back sleeper but can't fall asleep on my back.

That’s tough. Not sure what I would do if I couldn’t sleep on my left side. Hope you find some relief soon.

I'm halfway through PT because of a shoulder injury. I can't get an MRI until I've completed the 6 weeks of PT. Not a rotator cuff issue in my case. I know that pain, though. I damaged my left rotator cuff in a motorcycle accident back in 1990. Took months to heal fully, and I was a youngster then.

Are they going to hope PT works for you? Or is surgery in your future?

I think they have their routine to go through and PT and the injection are first on the list, hopefully they work their magic, if not it looks like surgery is the next logical step.

Thank you. My favorite side is my right side but I still need to switch to the left side every once in a while to give the right side some relief. I'm finding that very hard to do. Need to learn to fall asleep on my back. It's so comfortable, but I just can't fall asleep that way.

When I was young and thin I would sleep on my stomach with my arms crossed under my pillow. Between the rotator cuff injury years ago and this recent injury, I couldn't do that now. My shoulders wouldn't take it. I sleep on my left mostly, but that's been bothering my right shoulder without some support for my right arm. I guess it's a sign of aging when you wake up from 7 or 8 hours of sleep and can barely move.
