I had a 2006 330i sport pkg for 11 1/2 years!! Loved it!! Never got the least bit tired of it. I only parted with it because I really wanted a B58 with the ZF8 transmission. As much as I enjoyed the N52 330i, and I do miss it, I am thoroughly enjoying my 2018 340i M Sport!!

A solid modern upgrade!

We just bought a 328i without the 3SIM, and it is noticeably slower. Not a dog, but the 330i just pulls and pulls whenever I want it to! As of right now, I can't imagine anything improving upon it!

I loved my three stage naturally aspirated N52!!!! 255 horsepower is plenty!! As much as I like the B58 I do wish it was naturally aspirated, but then, even though 255 is plenty, the acceleration of 320 hp and 330 lb-ft of torque is so smooth and effortless it really is satisfying!!!!

Yes! S54 is a much better engine than any of these two!
