i read this will be on an updated CLAR platform?

Anyone know why they aren't moving this to NK and just updating CLAR?

So all powertrains are using the same platform.

Those have been around for awhile. I think the consensus is they are some of the worst renders as far as accuracy is concerned but we will see.

Lincoln did it first. Although I thought it looked cool at first not sure I'd like it long term.

Not really no, 20 seems to be the new base number regardless of the engine. They associate i with their electric cars and only make a handful of disels so dropped the i from the end of the number. Then it goes to 23 for the next engine size up. Then 30 which is typically for hybrids. M35 for low-range models then M40 for mid-range models. M50/60 for high-range. M70/80 for electric as well. 25 is also a hybrid number normally with an e.
Probably missing a few numbers here and there, definitely no 55, 65, 75 or 85… I think, who knows anymore tbh I don’t think BMW knows

I really, really find the flat wheel faces to be a major step back. Such wheels take so much away from the aggressiveness of the overall design. Bummer

Isn’t that post about the 2027 X5. The 2026 X5 has been in production since April.

Hopefully these added "luxury" accessories won't push the prices further north to the Cayenne territory.

Wow talk about the age of Tesla. I liked buttons. Especially when they went from matte plastic to shiny plastic and then metal.

What a time of evolutionary marvel that was

Haptic buttons on the steering wheel?!? Have they not learned from VW and everyone else who made this stupid decision in the last couple years? VW is already backpedaling on it in newer models.
