They're are super cheap now, AWD, supercharged 6 cyl for convertible or V8 if you go hard top... Maintenance bills will possibly outpace the purchase price in a short time.

Or again, some Audi all-road variant if you want something more wagon-ish. BMW abandoned wagons for SUVs pretty much.
This is an interesting option, not a fan of AWD but interesting. Is there an RS5?

I'm assuming that AWD is a must since it's Canada? Also, I don't think very many cars from 2015 are still analog. 2010 is probably a better estimate. Analog is also a pretty generic term, people will say my C6 Corvette is analog but it still has an electric throttle body, a computer watching over you, and variable steering. My C4 on the other hand, is analog. It has a throttle cable, and it's traction control system literally tanks the throttle shut if you slip the tires. Other people would say that's not an analog cars because it has ABS and power steering.

All that said...

An Audi RS4 would be a good choice here, they're pricey but out there. Maybe if you want to tempt date and S6 with the Gallardo V10? Supposedly the V10 cars are more reliable than the v8s...

This sort of analog, comfortable car that can also get down is also why the E39 M5 is so expensive now

Wai what, you don't want AWD in Canada?

Get an e92 M3 then. Or an E60 M6.

Lambo is not more reliable than Audi that's for sure

I was thinking E90 M3 or an E60 M5 with three pedals. Nothing more wild than a 500 hp V10 that screams to 8k+ in a four door sedan.

I primarily chose the S5 because it's cheap, you could buy 4 of them for the price of a good E90 M3.

S pricing and performance is closer to BMW's 335/340 tier wise. RS closer to M depending on your preferences. RS will also likely be turbo'ed, I think the earlier models were NA.

AWD isn't a must in Canada but I don't know your preferences regarding winters. Audi of course is 99% AWD brand.

As far as repairs go, they're probably more prone to expensive repairs than BMW. I don't have experience other than a close relative with one.

I find AWD one of the all time great feature sells to a public that doesn't really need it. Winter is all about stopping, and AWD doesn't help you at all. I WFH and roads here are plowed so I am fine with RWD. In saying that, I found the AWD in the original X1 fairly RWD biased, other cars feel very "pully".

I dunno, I opened the garage and said naaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah can't sell it but i'll be cursing next time i drive locally.

So sell the Porsche and just stick with the DD and at least save $$.

In FL where it's all flat roads and traffic I only have the Tesla and Lexus. I don't even bother with sporty over there anymore. Rather be comfortable the other 90% of the time when I'm not driving for fun.

What's the problem? Just don't turn slowly.

Mustang’s too big, E92 M3 lacks cargo and can be costly. Original X1 with a big engine and sport suspension is the best practical sporty option.

Convertibles plus wagon utility don’t exist. Keep the Porsche for fun, ditch the Saab.

The mustang and e92 are virtually the same size, and both are smaller than an X1.

What about selling both, getting a decent daily, and getting an Alfa spider oslr.similar.proper classic that's analog?
