Also, no manual no care. Putting in a manual gearbox is what would actually make it unique to become even more of a collector car.
In a sea of DCT’s and auto’s, it would have been the factor that made it stand out.

For 500K they need to remake the M1 the original ///M car! The i8 was kind of a start it looked great and had cool gull wing doors they just need to replace that rear engine 3 cylinder with a N74 V12 or even the S63 V8 would have been amazing in that light carbon fiber body also.

Apparently BMWs is current plan is, let's get rid of all the good looking cars. But, we will add a new good looking car, however we will only make 50 of them and will make the price out of reach of 98% of our buyers customers.

I saw it in person at Goodwood FOS and its beautiful. All 50 have been taken without an official launch.

It is a M8 with a bespoke body but limited numbers and a beautiful design (subjective of course) it was always going to sell out.
