I've only watched some Saudi F1 race highlights so far - BUT - to me the Jeddah circuit absolutely sucks. What other F1 circuit has massive high fencing and concrete or armco barriers all the way around it? I must be missing something here. I thought the FIA required run off room in higher speed corners? But no - all Jeddah has is armco barriers and fences. This unsafe and dangerous situation is known and has been discussed in the media since 2021. The circuit is also a disaster for spectators.

Someone's probably gonna' have to die before the Saudi's remove the barriers and alter the circuit. Shame - but true... Circuits like Jeddah can cause massive pile-ups after a car crashes on a blind corner and then other cars pile or are funneled into it at 200mph.

It's always fascinating the vehemently opposing positions around a single topic. I think Crofty should get a raise he's so good at his job. I can't even count how many times my wife, while doing something somewhere else in the house, will come in to wherever I'm watching a session and say "Gee, that sounded exciting." after Crofty did some Crofty things.

Sainz was slow to start at Ferrari and at Williams, and I don't think he's beaten Ham yet.

I'm not sure what Ham has to be afraid of - oh no guys, Lewis hasn't won a race since the sprint, the season is OVER.

I was watching it with Mrs Oz and she said similar things...About how dangerous this circuit looks...She mentioned that Singapore looks much better protected as a comparison

At the current trajectory, I see Lewis out at the end of next year(when 2year contract is up). Bearman in that seat for 2027. Charles is just dominating Lewis right now. Oliver has been outperforming in the Haas.

Lewis will retire and fully embrace his brand ambassador role. Charles will stay, him and Vasseur have a long relationship.
